ZIP – INITIAL INTEGRATION OF IMMIGRANTS

Free Slovenian language learning course


Veris d.o.o. is an official provider of free Slovenian language learning courses, which include cultural awareness and other related topics, under a programme called the Initial Integration of Immigrants - ZIP.

Under the programme, 60, 120 or 180 hour courses are provided free of charge, you only pay for any potential travel expenses and course material costs.

If you attend at least 80 % of course hours you are eligible for a free first exam in Slovenian language at the basic level.

Who is it for?

The programme is provided for third country citizens (non-EU) who have acquired the appropriate certificate issued by the administrative unit of their permanent or temporary residence. The certificate must be delivered to the provider.

The programme is not available to persons who have graduated from a Slovenian education institution at any level or who have passed the examination in Slovenian language at the basic level.

Where are ZIP courses taking place?

Courses will be provided in the following cities (pending sufficient application):

• Koper, Izola, Piran, Ilirska Bistrica, Sežana;
• Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Postojna, Idrija, Tolmin;
• Celje, Zagorje, Trbovlje, Slovenske Konjice and ;
• Novo mesto.
